Donations to Armed Forces Flag Day Fund are exempted from Income Tax vide Government of India Notification No. 78/2007 dated 26 Mar 07 and under section 80 G (5) (vi) of Income Tax Act 1961 vide Director of Income Tax (E) letter No. NQ.DIT (E) | 2010-11/DEL-AE22280-04012011/2186 dated 04 Jan 11. You will receive donation receipts for the same.
As a Corporate:
- Pledge a certain amount to support AFFDF causes and set up a matching program for your employees or partners on Crowdera, KSB’s fundraising partner.
- Spread the fundraiser among your employees. You will receive a customized corporate giving page on Crowdera and your employees will be able to donate or start a fundraiser for AFFDF.
- Decide to support KSB’s initiatives as a part of your CSR.
As a College or School or Individual:
You can either donate to the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund (AFFDF) or Join a team under Kendriya Sainik Board’s campaign if you wish to raise funds for AFFDF. You can choose the goal amount you wish to raise for AFFDF.
Your donation made to Kendriya Sainik Board for the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund (AFFDF) would be utilized either for the education of ex-servicemen’s children, to support them to move out of poverty or for marriages in the family of ex-servicemen.

Crowdera uses secured Payment Gateways wherein the funds donated are directly deposited to the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund (AFFDF), which disburses the fund for the welfare of war-widows, war-disabled soldiers and ex-servicemen.
